SHIPPING
We will make every effort to ship orders as soon as they are received. Most orders will ship within 48 hours. Any product that is out of stock will be shipped to you as it becomes available for shipment. You will be notified by telephone or e-mail of the estimated ship date. There is no need to reorder.
As soon as your order ships, we will e-mail you shipping details, including a tracking number (if available). You can expect most packages to be delivered to their destination within 4-7 business days from the ship date. Please note that some packages may take slightly longer depending on the weight of the package and the shipping location.
Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories will be charged additional shipping fees based on destination, size and weight. Items being delivered to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories may take up to 2 weeks from the ship date to complete delivery. Carrier restrictions may prevent selected items from being deliverable to destinations within Hawaii, Alaska and US territories. Furthermore, there may be some orders we will not be able to ship because of distance or cost.
Products will ship Monday thru Friday. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays will ship the following business day.
Some insecticides cannot be shipped to certain states (ex. New York, Connecticut, Vermont, or outside the lower 48 United States.) If a product cannot be sold in a particular state, you will be informed of the restriction on the product's information page. All aerosol cans must be shipped FedEx Ground, they cannot be shipped by US mail or FedEx Air.
Damaged Shipments
If a shipment is lost or damaged the customer must notify Pest, Pool and Lawn within 24 hours. Pest, Pool and Lawn can file a loss or damage claim for the following reasons:
• The shipment has been lost. The loss must be verified through the shipping company.
• Part of the shipment has been lost, also known as a partial delivery.
• The package was damaged in transit and returned to Pest, Pool and Lawn or disposed of by FedEx.
• The package was delivered damaged and the recipient either refused due to damage OR received the shipment but signed the FedEx ticket as having received damaged merchandise.
If the shipment is received damaged, the receiver must photograph the damaged shipment BEFORE opening and then photograph the damaged contents. Because the burden of proof is on the receiver, the more pictures taken the better. All pictures should be e-mailed to Pest, Pool and Lawn, along with an explanation of the shipment’s condition at the time of receipt and a list of missing items if applicable.
FedEx has up to 10 business days to inspect the package after a claim has been filed. It is the customer’s responsibility to retain ALL packing materials for inspection.
Wrong Address Charges
A $10 fee will apply for an incorrect shipping address!
When a customer enters an incorrect address our shipping carrier will charge us a $10 fee to locate the correct address so the package can be delivered. We will pass this charge on to the customer. This occurs very rarely and we will always attempt to contact the customer first before we ship the package if the address looks questionable.
If you enter an incorrect shipping address and the package is delivered to another person and cannot be recovered, we will have to charge you the full order price again if you want the order shipped to the correct address. We will not issue refunds for address mistakes that are out of our control.
